Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 250 g butter
- 300 g sugar
- 6 eggs, separated
- 6 tbsp semolina (durum wheat semolina)
- 1 kg quark (low-fat quark)
- 1 pinch of baking powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
(without bottom)
Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, then stir in the egg yolks one at a time. Add the quark, then the semolina mixed with baking powder. Finally, fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Line a springform pan with baking paper and grease the edges well, then pour in the batter. Bake for 1 hour at 150°C.
