Ingredients

  • 225 g Butter
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 6 Pc. Eggs
  • 450 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 50 g Ground almonds
  • 125 Milliliters Milk
  • 3 Tablespoon (heaped) Cocoa
  • 0,5 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoon Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar

Instructions

  • Whisk the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs in a mixing bowl. Whether you use a mixer or a whisk is up to you. Depending on how sweet you like it, you also determine the amount of sugar to be used.
  • Then add the flour, baking powder and milk and stir again. Then take 1/3 of the dough out of the bowl and set aside.
  • Add the cocoa, cinnamon, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 3-4 tablespoons of milk to the remaining 2/3 of the dough. Everything has to be mixed up again.
  • Now place the two doughs in a cup cake pan and mix the two doughs in a spiral with a fork. This gives you the typical grain of the marble cake. The cake is baked for 1 hour at 175 degrees Celsius. Good Appetite!
