Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Grape and fig jam

Peel and quarter the figs, wash the grapes, and chop both with a hand blender. The fruit mixture should weigh about 1000g. Mix the Gelfix with 2 tablespoons of the prepared sugar and stir into the cold grape and fig mixture. Bring the mixture to a boil. Once the mixture is bubbling, add the remaining sugar and simmer for 3-4 minutes while stirring. Wash jars with twist-top caps thoroughly and rinse with cold water. Immediately fill the jars with the finished jam while it’s still hot, seal tightly, and turn upside down. After about 10 minutes, you can turn the jars upside down again.
