Grape – Lime – Compote

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g grapes, blue
  • 1 lime(s), juice
  • ½ tsp cinnamon and 1.5 tbsp Frutilose (fruit syrup from the health food store)
  • 1 tbsp walnuts, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the grapes, halve them, and deseed them with a knife. Add 50 ml of lime juice to the water. Bring the juice to a boil with the grapes and cinnamon, then simmer over low heat for about 2 minutes. Finally, stir in the frutilose and chopped walnuts. Let the compote cool and store in the refrigerator. Try it on its own or mixed with yogurt, quark, or sour milk. If you don’t have a lime on hand, you can use the juice of half a lemon instead.
