Ingredients

  • 100 g Crushed greens
  • 25 g Sunflower seeds
  • 50 g Oatmeal
  • 1 Garlic clove chopped
  • 2 tsp Instant vegetable broth, yeast-free
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 1 tbsp Seasoned tomato paste
  • Some flour
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Put the green spelled, sunflower seeds and oat flakes in a saucepan with the chopped garlic and vegetable stock. Top up with water so that the amount is just covered. Bring to the boil briefly, remove from heat and let soak for approx. 10 minutes. Chop the onion, add to the "mush" together with the spices and tomato paste. This should be very sticky after mixing. Add some flour, about 1-2 tablespoons, so that the mixture becomes a little firmer and let the whole thing stand for another 20 minutes. Heat the oil in the pan. Form balls from approx. One tablespoon each of the mixture and place them in the pan. Press flat with the spatula and fry on both sides for approx. 10 minutes. And then you make a burger to taste.
