Grilled meat gyro marinade

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g lamb or pork
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp savory
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Mix all the spices with the oil and press in the garlic clove. Add the meat pieces. Marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably 24 hours. Then grill to taste. Also ideal as a marinade for homemade gyros.
