Gypsy Sauce for Schnitzel

The perfect gypsy sauce for schnitzel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Red peppers
  • 1 Yellow peppers
  • 1 Green peppers
  • 1 Onion
  • 100 ml Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 100 ml Water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Pomegranate syrup
  • 1 tsp Tomato ketchup
  1. Cut the 3 peppers into pieces of the same size.
  1. Dice the onion, not too small.
  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan.
  1. Put the pepper and onion cubes in the saucepan, sprinkle the sugar over them and let them caramelize. Add the ketchup.
  1. Deglaze the mixture with the balsamic vinegar and bring to the boil briefly, then add the water.
  1. The pepper should be firm to the bite.
  1. Remove the sauce from the heat, add the pomegranate syrup and season with salt and pepper.
