Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g wheat flour
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 280 ml water, lukewarm
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 75 g diced ham, fine
- 150 g mozzarella or other cheese
- 100 g herb butter, soft
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 50 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Mix the flour, dry yeast, and salt. Add the lukewarm water and oil and knead everything well. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Knead the dough again briefly and then roll it out on a baking sheet lined with baking paper into a flatbread with a diameter of about 28 cm. Using floured fingers, make indentations in the dough and let rise for another 20 minutes. Coarsely grate the mozzarella or other cheese and spread it on the dough with the ham. Place the herb butter in flakes on top. Bake in a preheated oven (electric oven 225 °C) for about 20 minutes. Mozzarella is very easy to grate if you freeze it for about 45 minutes beforehand.
