Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g wheat flour
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 8 tbsp milk
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 100 g fried onions
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 100 g diced ham
  • 2 tbsp frozen Italian herbs

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Makes approximately 30 balls. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Make a dough with flour, quark, baking powder, milk, oil, salt, and sugar. Add the fried onions, cheese, diced ham, and herbs and mix well. Then form 30 walnut-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes.
