Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g potatoes, cooked, peeled, sliced
  • 500 g ham, cooked, diced
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 ml milk
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Recipe for poor people, anno 1870

Layer the potatoes and ham in a greased casserole dish. Whisk the milk, eggs, salt, and pepper together, and pour over the potatoes. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 40 minutes. Serve with salad.
