Ham sandwich with fried egg

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 slice(s) bread(s) (wholemeal bread)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp onion(s) (fried onions)
  • some butter
  • 2 slices of ham
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp cheese (Emmental), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Spread butter on the whole-wheat bread and place the ham on top. Then, if desired, sprinkle with some fried onions and the cheese. Melt the butter in a pan. Then crack one egg into it, leaving the yolk intact. Wait until the egg white has completely set, but the yolk is still runny. Place the egg on the bread, season with salt and pepper, and it’s ready. For a more sophisticated dish, perhaps as an appetizer, you can use smaller slices of bread and quail eggs.
