Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g minced beef
- 4 tomatoes (Roma tomatoes)
- 2 onions, red
- 1 small head of iceberg lettuce
- 4 slices of white bread
- 6 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 4 medium-sized gherkins
- some cucumber juice
- some oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Deseed the tomatoes. Dice the onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Wash and cut the iceberg lettuce into small strips. Cut the white bread slices into 1 cm pieces. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and fry in a little oil until browned. Transfer to a bowl and add the onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, and ketchup. Season with a little pickle juice, salt, and pepper, and let cool. Stir in the iceberg lettuce and season to taste before serving. Toast the bread in a pan and sprinkle it on top.
