Hand cheese "Ta-Taa"

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g cheese (hand cheese, preferably nice and ripe)
  • 2 large onions
  • 100 g butter
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp caraway seeds
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ bunch chives
  • 1 dash of cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Hessian Obatzter

Finely chop the cheese and finely chop the onions. Mix all ingredients well until the mixture is slightly creamy and season to taste. I always use a food processor and let it do the work. Serve with crusty bread.
