Hearty Meat Loaf, Modified Idea of vacation Grandma
The perfect hearty meat loaf, modified idea of vacation grandma recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the meat loaf pan
- 600 g Meatloaf
- Approx. 2 cm thick slices
- 1 Pc. Chopped onion
- 1 Pc. Sliced carrots
- 0,5 Pc. Red pepper
- 50 g Pork bacon raw smoked
- Rama Culinesse for frying
- 1/4 of the remaining sauce from the pork roulade
- 1/4 l Wasser
- 1 Pc. Gravy cubes
For the mashed potatoes
- 750 g Floury potatoes
- 0,5 liter Vegetable broth
- 50 g Butter
- 100 Milliliters Cream 30% fat
- 2 tbsp Chopped parsley
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg
preparation
- Wash potatoes, peel and cut into pieces. Cook in the vegetable stock until soft.
- Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash, peel and thinly slice the carrot. Wash the peppers and cut into thin strips.
- Cut the liver cheese into bite-sized cubes. Heat the rama culinesse in the pan.
Leberkäse pan
- Brown the meat loaf on all sides until crispy. Take out of the pan and keep warm.
- In the same pan, sauté the onion, carrot and bell pepper until translucent. Add the finely chopped bacon and fry until crispy. Add the juices and water and bring to the boil.
- Add the remaining sauce from the pork roulade, briefly bring to the boil again. To taste. Add the meat loaf and let soak in the sauce.
Mashed potatoes
- Drain the potatoes and briefly mash them with the potato masher. Add butter, warmed cream, salt, a little pepper and nutmeg. Stomp evenly. Now add the chopped parsley and stir. Possibly add a little hot milk.
