Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 5 eggs, separated
- 125 g sugar
- Lemon peel, grated
- 250 g semolina, coarse
- 250 ml milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar and lemon zest. Add the semolina and mix in. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes until golden brown. Heat the milk and pour it over the casserole while it’s still boiling. Serve with pear compote, for example.
