Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 450 g yeast dough, frozen
  • 3 sausages (Mettenden or ham-Mettenden)
  • some milk or egg for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Prepare the yeast dough according to the package instructions. Place the sausages whole or cut in half lengthwise on the dough and fold the dough closed. Press firmly and place seam-down on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush with a little milk or egg. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes (or according to the package instructions). If they’re not dark enough, bake for a few minutes longer. Caution: They’re very hot inside! Delicious warm or cold.
