Homemade apple iced tea

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tea bags, black (e.g. Darjeeling)
  • ½ liter of water
  • ½ liter apple juice, clear
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ lemon(s), sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

quick and refreshing

Bring the water to a boil and pour over the tea bags. Let it steep for 5 minutes, remove the tea bags, and then stir in the honey until dissolved. Let it cool slightly, then mix with the apple juice and lemon slices. Let the mixture cool completely in the refrigerator for a while. Stir well again before serving to redistribute the settled tea.
