Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml cream (also called whipped cream or Obers)
  • 500 ml water
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • n. B. Ice, cubed

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Make your own butter (with cream)

Whip the cream with a hand mixer until it separates into lumps of butter and buttermilk. Squeeze out the lumps as thoroughly as possible until no more buttermilk comes out. Dissolve the salt in 500 ml of water and add the squeezed and shaped lump of butter. It should be quite cold. Add ice cubes if desired and then refrigerate for at least 12 hours. The resulting buttermilk is also delicious.
