Homemade iced tea

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 tea bags, green
  • 1 tea bag (peppermint tea)
  • e.g. ginger, optional
  • 1 ½ liters of water, hot
  • e.g. apple juice
  • n. B. ice cubes

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Brew the green tea with hot, but not boiling, water and add a peppermint tea bag, or some ginger pieces if desired. If you prefer your drink clearer, remove any cloudiness caused by suspended particles using a coffee filter. Chill the tea and have ice cubes ready. Tip: For a large glass, I use one part juice from sweet, clear apples and 4-5 parts tea. Add ice cubes as desired, and you have a light, summery refreshment.
