  • 40 coffee beans
  • 40 sugar cubes
  • 1 liter of schnapps (clear grain or juniper schnapps)

Wash the orange, make 40 slits with a knife, and press the 40 coffee beans into them. Place the skewered orange in a sealable container. Add the 40 pieces of sugar and pour over the corn or juniper berries. Let it steep for 40 days and then strain through a coffee filter. If you want to give this liqueur as a gift, for example, for Christmas, it must be brewed by November 14th at the latest.
