Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 1,000 g pasta, croissants, medium-sized
- 500 g ham, cooked, in one piece
- 200 g smoked bacon
- 100 g onion(s)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 50 g butter
- 200 g cream, crème fraîche or similar (of your choice) (also sour cream ;-))
- 100 g cheese, grated
- 10 g basil
- 20 g parsley
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut the ham and bacon into small cubes. Finely dice the peeled onion and garlic. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, fry the onion, garlic, bacon, and ham cubes in the butter. Add the cream and bring to a boil briefly (don’t use cream, as it will curdle!). Season generously with salt and pepper. Add the finely chopped basil and parsley. Drain the pasta, mix thoroughly with the sauce, and arrange on plates. Sprinkle with grated cheese and serve hot.
