Conjured up in a flash! As a snack with beer or wine or as a side dish to salad
Mix all ingredients except the dough together and season generously with the spices. Roll out the dough (or use puff pastry – that’s delicious too!) and spread the mixture on top, not too thickly. Roll the whole thing up tightly from the wide side and then cut about 1-1.5 cm thick slices from the roll and place them side by side (with some space between) on two baking sheets lined with baking paper. Place in the oven and bake at 180°C fan/convection oven for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown. TIP: This recipe is easy to adapt: add very finely chopped salami, ham, curry pastry, pepperoni, etc. and it tastes completely different.
