Hot spiced orange juice

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter orange juice
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon, approx. 5 cm
  • 1 star anise
  • 3 cloves
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

without alcohol

Pour the orange juice and spices into a saucepan and heat gently. Do not let it boil. When the orange juice is hot, stir in the honey and let it dissolve. Let the juice steep for about 10 minutes and taste to see if you need more honey (depending on how sweet you like it). Then pour into cups or heatproof glasses and enjoy.
