Hot white chocolate with gin and tonka bean

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 ml milk
  • 50 g white chocolate
  • 1 pinch(s) of tonka bean grinding
  • 60 ml gin, preferably tonka gin
  • 1 cup whipped cream, approx. 200 g

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Pour the milk into a small saucepan. Grate in the crumbled chocolate and a pinch of tonka bean. Heat everything while stirring until the chocolate is melted and the milk is hot, but not boiling. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Pour 20–40 ml of gin into 2 glasses or mugs, top with hot chocolate, and serve with whipped cream. Tonka bean is a very strong flavor, so use it sparingly.
