Iced tea made easy…

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ liter black tea (also flavored)
  • ½ liter of cold water (preferably ice cubes)
  • ½ liter orange juice (blood orange juice, direct juice)
  • little sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Juice and tea mixture

Brew the tea; any black tea will do, but you can also add a fruity flavor if you like. Once the tea has steeped, cool it with cold water or ice cubes and add the chilled blood orange juice. The tea has a slightly bitter note, which may be intentional. I prefer one sugar cube per 0.2 l glass. There are no limits to your blend; you can also use grape juice, for example, and experiment with other types of tea. Personally, I think it’s important to always use 1/3 tea, 1/3 water, and 1/3 juice; otherwise, the blend is too strong and no longer a thirst-quencher.
