Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 tsp, heaped herbal tea (Greek mountain tea – sideritis syriaca)
- 1 liter of water
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 lemon(s)
- n. B. ice cubes
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Sweet herbal iced tea without sugar
Pour boiling water over the tea and let it steep for 10 minutes. Add honey or, for a vegan version, maple syrup and stir well. Halve the lemon. Squeeze one half of the lemon. Slice the other half. Once the tea has cooled, stir in the lemon juice. Serve with ice cubes and lemon slices and enjoy.
