Insalata Caprese (tomato and Bocconcini Salad)

The perfect insalata caprese (tomato and bocconcini salad) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Biggest mature Toma
  • 250 g Bocconcini
  • 12 Basil leaves
  • 60 ml Olive oil
  1. Cut the tomatoes into four 1 cm thick slices. Cut the bocconcini into 1 cm thick slices. Arrange the tomato slices alternately with boccoini slices on a platter. Place the fresh basil leaves between the Bocconini slices and the tomato slices.
  1. Drizzle the salad with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
