Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp, heaped baking powder
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 pinch(s) salt
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

First, melt the butter and beat it with the sugar until fluffy. Then add the water, egg, baking powder, salt, and gradually the flour, and mix everything well. Spread the dough about 1 cm thick on a greased baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 20 minutes. Then let it cool, but cut into square pieces while the pastry is still warm.
