Just Brown Sugar
The perfect just brown sugar recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

- 250 g Raw cane sugar or to taste
- 1 tbsp Sugar beet herb syrup
Just brown sugar
- Put the raw cane sugar (or another one) together with the beet syrup in a bowl or machine. Mix everything together quickly. It should be noted here that it is a wet mixture. If possible, this should be processed further immediately, otherwise it could clump together.
- Another idea would be to put them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 60 degrees, add a baking sheet. The oven door is slightly opened and left to dry for about 1 hour. Then take it out and leave it on the tray so that it cools down completely.
- This creates a coarse brown sugar. If you want it finer, put it in a coffee grinder, Mr. Magica or, like me, in the Thermomix, which is designed for this and pulverizes the whole thing. Then place in a screw-top jar with a lid. So now you always have fresh brown sugar ready in the Christmas bakery!
