Kalhua – Pudding with Digestive Biscuits

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 8 tbsp cornstarch
  • 250 g liqueur (Kalhua)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 250 g biscuit(s) (digestive biscuits)
  • 250 g margarine
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • possibly confectionery (mocha beans)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

very light dessert

Make a pudding from milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Remove from the heat and stir in the margarine and Kalhua. After about 10 minutes, stir in the coarsely crushed digestive biscuits. Pour into a deep bowl and chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Then whip the cream with the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Top the pudding with this mixture and garnish with mocha beans, if desired.
