Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 bag of French fries or sweet potatoes or vegetables
- 1 piece(s) Parmesan
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1 bulb(s) garlic
- 125 g butter
- e.g. salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Cook the fries in the oven on a baking sheet according to the package instructions. Finely chop the parsley and garlic (you don’t need to use the whole bulb). About 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time, remove the baking sheet from the oven and generously grate Parmesan cheese over the fries, mixing well before continuing to cook. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan, roast the garlic, and add half of the parsley just before the end of the cooking time. Place the fries in a large bowl, pour the melted garlic butter over them, and stir well. Garnish with the remaining parsley and serve immediately. This recipe can be made with potato fries, sweet potatoes, or vegetables, and goes perfectly with grilled meat. Wedges can also be used, but increase the cooking time slightly, as otherwise they will become a bit mushy.
