Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 eggs
- 250 g sugar
- 200 ml oil
- 200 ml egg liqueur
- 300 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- Powdered sugar, for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Beat eggs and sugar until thick and foamy. Add oil and egg liqueur. Quickly stir in flour and baking powder. Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (160°C fan-assisted oven) for about 50 minutes. Sprinkle the cooled king cake with powdered sugar. A quick tip: Apple juice or something similar can be used instead of egg liqueur.
