Klütje with berry dip

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 40 g yeast
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • some salt and sugar
  • 250 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Make a well in the center of the flour, add the warm milk, yeast, and a little sugar, and mix. Add the remaining ingredients and knead everything into a smooth dough. Let the dough rise in a warm place. Grease a dumpling mold, pour the dough into it, and cook the dumplings in a water bath for about 1 hour (or place it in a towel and tie it under the lid of the pot). Remove the finished dumplings, slice them onto a plate, and serve. Serve with cooked pears with a little thickened sauce as a side dish. Vanilla sauce also works well with this dish.
