Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 kohlrabi
- 6 large potatoes
- 1 sweet potato(s)
- 2 onions
- 200 g raw ham, diced
- salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 cup of cream
- some nutmeg, freshly grated
- 100 g grated cheese, e.g. Emmental
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Peel the kohlrabi, potatoes, and sweet potatoes, quarter them, and slice them thinly. Season well with salt and pepper, mix everything well, and transfer to a greased, deep baking sheet. Fry the ham cubes in oil, add the onions, and sauté. Spread the ham and onion mixture over the vegetables and sprinkle with grated cheese. Mix the cream with a little nutmeg and spread it evenly over the vegetable mixture. Bake in the oven at 180 to 200°C for approximately 35 to 40 minutes.
