Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 kohlrabi
- 1 pack of herb melted cheese
- e.g. parsley, fresh
- n. B. Chives, fresh
- e.g. salt and pepper
- n. B. Clarified butter

Peel the kohlrabi and slice it into very thin slices. Then fry it in batches in hot clarified butter until soft and lightly browned. Layer it in a prepared casserole dish and season with salt and pepper. Chop the herbs and the fine green parts of the kohlrabi and stir into the cream cheese. Spread this mixture over the kohlrabi slices. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top and bottom heat) for about 20-30 minutes, until the herb topping is lightly browned. Boiled potatoes go best with this dish. We love this dish because the kohlrabi has a slightly sweet, caramelized flavor.
