Kohrabi Thalers with Almonds and Amaranth

- 1 Kohlrabi, peeled and sliced
- Flour
- 1 tsp Mustard
- Water
- Salt and pepper
- Sliced almonds approx. 50 g
- Popped amaranth
- Oil
- Mix flour, water, mustard and salt / pepper into a thick paste. Mix the almonds and amaranth in a second plate. Turn the kohlrabi slices generously in the flour, then in the breading, pressing it down a little.
- Fry in hot oil over medium heat, preferably with the lid on, until crispy.
- We had mashed potatoes and a sauce made from almond butter, water, yeast flakes, a little lemon, salt / pepper and the chopped leftovers from the kohlrabi.
