Leek – Ham – Tomato – Pasta Salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 bunch of spring onions
  • 200 g ham, cooked
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 500 g pasta (e.g. fusilli)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 jar Miracle Whip Balance
  • Salt
  • Pepper, black, coarse

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook pasta according to the instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta water and add the tomatoes until the skins come off (you may want to make a small cross-shaped slash first). Peel the tomatoes, remove the stems, and dice them. Slice the spring onions into rings. Finely dice the garlic and cooked ham. Place everything in a bowl and mix with mayonnaise until a paste forms. Add the now-cold pasta and mix well. Finally, add salt and season to taste with coarse black pepper. Note: The salad tastes best when refrigerated overnight.
