Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 lemon(s), the juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped or squeezed
- salt and pepper
- n. B. Chili pepper(s), fresh, finely chopped
- 10 leaves of fresh basil
- 1 tsp, heaped oregano, dried
- 500 g meat of your choice
Instructions
Working time approx. 2 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 2 minutes
Not only for the barbecue season – also suitable as a pan gyro seasoning, for approx. 500 g of meat
Place all ingredients along with the meat in a freezer bag and mix everything by kneading the bag. Then marinate in the refrigerator for about 24 hours. This mixture isn’t just suitable as a barbecue marinade; it also tastes great when the marinated meat is shredded and pan-fried. It’s reminiscent of gyros and delicious with tzatziki and bread.
