Lentil Soup with Smoked Pork

- 1 size Onion
- 100 g Smoked bacon streaked
- 200 g Kassler
- 2 tbsp Clarified butter
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 liter Meatsoup
- 250 g Lenses
- Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Sugar
- Vinegar
- 2 medium sized Potatoes
- 1 medium sized Carrot
- Finely chop the onion. Cut the bacon into small cubes. Remove the smoked pork from the bone, also dice. Clean, wash and chop the soup greens.
- Heat the fat in a large saucepan and sauté the onion and diced bacon in it. Add the smoked pork with the bone and the soup greens, also sauté lightly. Put the bay leaf in the saucepan and pour in the broth. Sprinkle in the lentils and bring everything to a boil.
- Let the lentil stew simmer over medium heat for about 40 minutes. Peel and dice the potatoes and carrots. And give to it. Cook for 5 – 10 minutes. Remove the Kassel bone and season the lentil stew with salt, pepper, sugar and possibly vinegar.
