Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 6 slice(s) Bavarian Leberkäse, thinly sliced
- 3 slice(s) butter cheese, Gouda or similar.
- 2 eggs
- Flour
- breadcrumbs
- Salt
- Clarified butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Place a slice of cheese between each slice of Leberkäse, then prepare it like a Cordon Bleu. That is, gently coat it in flour, then in beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs. Fry in clarified butter until golden brown. Serve with potato salad or mashed potatoes.
