Low-fat cream cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g yogurt (low-fat yogurt, 0.1% fat)
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs, fresh or dried, of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 5 minutes

Pour the yogurt into a coffee filter, then place the coffee filter into a sieve. The yogurt will immediately begin to lose water. Let it stand until it reaches the consistency of cream cheese, then season and add salt. NOTE: This doesn’t work with yogurt that contains starch; it’s best to get one with bacterial cultures!
