Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 ml half and half cream
  • 100 g Cheddar cheese, natural
  • 50 g Gruyère, fresh
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • 1 medium egg yolk
  • 1 pinch(s) paprika powder
  • a little pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg
  • 250 g macaroni or any pasta

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

for cheese lovers

Cook the macaroni or pasta of your choice in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, place the single cream and the cheeses, cut into chunks, in a separate pan. Heat gently and add the paprika, pepper, and nutmeg. Once the cheese is completely melted, quickly stir in the egg yolk with a whisk or fork, add the drained macaroni, and enjoy.
