Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g pasta (macaroni)
- 1 jar Pesto Rosso
- 250 ml cream
- 5 eggs
- 200 g cheese, grated
- 200 g cooked ham
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Whisk the pesto with the eggs, cream, 100g grated cheese, and a little salt and pepper. Drain the macaroni and place it in a pie dish. Dice the ham, sprinkle it over the macaroni, and pour the pesto sauce evenly over it. Place the dish in the oven and bake the macaroni pie for 30 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese over the top and bake for another 15 minutes.
