Marble Cherry Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 375 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 5 eggs
  • 100 ml milk, optionally a little more
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp Nutella
  • 4 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 1 jar sour cherries
  • Fat for the mold
  • possibly powdered sugar for dusting
  • possibly cake icing (chocolate glaze)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Drain the cherries. Cream the butter, sugar, and salt until fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs. Mix the flour and baking powder and beat in, adding the milk as you go. If the batter is too stiff, just add a little more milk. Divide the batter in half. Mix the Nutella and cocoa powder into one half and the desiccated coconut into the other. First pour the dark batter into a greased springform pan, then spread the light batter on top. Using a fork, spiral the batter through and finally add the cherries to the batter, pressing down lightly. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes. If you like, you can dust the cake with powdered sugar or cover it with chocolate later.
