Marinated Fish Bites
The perfect marinated fish bites recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 750 g Cod or pollack fillet
- Flour to turn for the fish
- 1-2 unbehandelte Zitronen
- Oil for frying
- 1 Paprika, color as desired
- 1 Onion
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 150 ml Herb vinegar
- 100 ml Water
- Some chilli, salt, pepper
- 3 Bay leaves
- 2 Cloves
- Some sugar – to your own taste
- Wash the fish, pat dry and cut into the desired pieces. Drizzle with the juice of half a lemon and let it steep for 15 minutes. Salt, pepper and toss in flour.
- Heat the oil and fry the fish bites for approx. 5 minutes until golden brown and then put them in a tin.
- Wash one lemon, cut into slices. Also prepare the onion, garlic and paprika and cut into slices. Bring everything to the boil with vinegar, water and the spices. Season sweet and sour with sugar.
- Pour the marinade over the fish bites, put in a cool place and leave to stand for at least 6 hours.
