Marzipan Cinnamon Stars
The perfect marzipan cinnamon stars recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 g Marzipan
- 250 g Ground almonds
- 370 g Sugar
- 3 piece Protein
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 bag Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 200 g Powdered sugar
- Coarsely grate the marzipan. Knead the marzipan, almonds, sugar, two egg whites, cinnamon, vanilla sugar and salt thoroughly by hand to form a dough. Chill the dough for about half an hour.
- Roll out the dough about 3-5 mm thick on a little flour and cut out stars. For the meringue coating, beat the last egg white very quickly (preferably in the machine) and add the powdered sugar spoon by spoon. When a white, viscous mass has formed, it is perfect for the stars. Now all the stars are brushed with the meringue mass and placed on a baking sheet with baking paper.
- Set the oven to 170 degrees and bake the marzipan cinnamon stars in it for about 10 minutes.
