Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g marzipan paste
  • 90 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp rum or rose water
  • 50 g cocoa powder

Instructions

Knead all ingredients together thoroughly, except for the cocoa. Form the mixture into thumb-thick rolls, then cut off 2 cm long pieces. Form balls with your palms and roll them in a bowl with cocoa powder. Shake off any excess powder in a sieve. Score them with a knife to resemble small, burst potatoes. Marzipan paste is available in well-stocked supermarkets. Instead, ask your baker. The products they source are often cheaper and of better quality.
