Marzipan waffles

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 200 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 300 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the marzipan into small pieces and dissolve it in the milk (it’s easy to do with a food processor once the mixture is warmed up). Immediately add the eggs, salt, and sugar and beat until light and fluffy, then stir in the flour thoroughly. Bake in a waffle iron until light brown, dusting with powdered sugar if desired. Be careful, though, if the waffles are baked too dark, the marzipan flavor won’t come through. Enjoy!
