Ingredients
- 6 Herring fillets
- 1 Pickled cucumber
- 1 Apple
- 1 Onion
- 2 tbsp Whipped cream
- 2 tbsp Homemade mayonnaise
- 1 Large lettuce leaves, preferably an iceberg lettuce
- For the set:
- Fresh cress
Instructions
- Soak the matjes fillets, pat dry and cut into strips.
- Cut the vegetables / fruit into strips and mix with the herring.
- Mix the whipped cream and mayonnaise together and fold into the herringbone salad.
- Place the lettuce leaf on a plate and arrange the matjes salad in it, garnish with cress and serve.
