Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 8 Maultaschen
- 250 g cooked ham
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 jar mushrooms, sliced
- 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
- 250 g cheese (Gouda), young or medium-aged
- salt and pepper
- Frozen mixed herbs
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Cut the Maultaschen into thin slices. Dice the ham, onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes. Add the sliced mushrooms. Mix everything in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 20-30 minutes. There’s no need to soak the Maultaschen in broth beforehand, as the tomatoes make the casserole so moist!
